Article: Rise Against at Central Park 7/28/15

Rise Against! has embarked on its current tour, taking with them Killswitch Engage and LetLive across the United States. The tour stop for New York took an interesting turn, deciding to play the Central Park Summer-stage, as the outdoor theater celebrates its 30th anniversary. This tour has extended dates until the Fall, continuing once again on November 1st in New Hampshire. The one moment that caught my attention, was when Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam D. decided to stop mid-song after he saw a fan in the audience collapse. Both he and lead singer Jesse Leach alerted security through their microphones and directed traffic to make sure the fan was removed safely. They implored all fans to take care of their health regardless of weather and venue conditions to ensure everyone around them, including themselves, are safe and sound during the concert. I have never experienced that live before as long as I have been covering shows for six years now. Because of this, KSE gets a massive amount of respect in my book.
