Corpse Paint Soaps: “Wash Your Sins Away”
“Wash your sins away with Hubbath’s sweet face”, reads an Instagram post by @corpsepaintsoaps. Corpse Paint Soaps owner and creator, Milla Niskakoski’s soaps are hand made and custom made to display Black Metal’s most famous corpse paint faces.
Milla, a Finnish design entrepreneur based in Seoul, South Korea, has been milling soaps by hand for a couple of years. It was her participation in the official “Belzebubs Fan Art: The Blackened Call Competition” in Summer of 2018 that she began experimenting with making soap molds. Her victory in the competition brought her to collaborate on official merchandise with Belzebub’s creator JP Ahonen.
Niskakoski’s latest creation was in the likeness of Heavy Metal band The Convalescence’s front man Keith Wampler who is known for his brutal Cthulhu-like corpse paint. Milla’s portfolio includes molds for Ghost’s Papa Emeritus III, (appropriately infused with frankincense essential oil), the late Dead Ohlin of Mayhem, and of course Hubbath. Custom made Corpse Paint Soaps are definitely something creative to have displayed on your merch tables as limited edition!
