HALO INFINITE DELAYED, Launches in 2021
Chris Lee, the Studio Head of 343 Studios, took to Twitter to announce the unfortunate news for Xbox Series X regarding the release of Halo: Infinite. As Microsoft’s most prestigious game series was expected to land as a launch title alongside the 2020 console, this is not being considered a blow to the series or the launch, rather more time spent on development. Statement below for further details:
Microsoft Xbox Series X will still launch November 2020. It’s honestly unfortunate that the Xbox Series X will not have a Halo title at launch as one of their best exclusives, due to COVID-19. Of course, we understand that Xbox has to take long term development into account, as they were unable to work in the studio as they normally would and want to put out the best product possible. Definitely bold to say they weren’t going to have a Halo product on console launch.
