Happy 35th Anniversary Metal Blade Records 2/25/17

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME…..Oh, And Metal Blade Records. Funny story, My birthday is usually on March 13th, But for Metal Blade, it was AN ENTIRE TOUR. I mean how cool is THAT? 35 years of some of the BEST Metal and rock around, and what a better way to celebrate than throwing on the bad-ass company of Whitechapel, Cattle Decapitation, Goatwhore, Allegation and Necromancing The Stone. Although it was a “matinee” show, beginning as early as 4:30pm, the show was bombastic with a stellar powerhouse of talent that made the afternoon feel like the night belonged to the metal heads of this city. Even though Goatwhore did not perform on this show date and I was unfortunate to miss Necromancing The Stone, the entire time nothing short or an adrenaline rush, fitting for a birthday bash that only New York City can know how to hold.
