Jim Breuer at Knitting Factory 8/1/16

Comedian turn musician and veteran metal-head Jim Breuer held a three night residency at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on July 21st, July 25th and the last show date, August 1st. Representing Metal Blade records, the man gave a performance that was not only auspicious, but one of tact and pristine authenticity that you can only expect from a performer of his caliber. Mixing his brand of comedy, like imitating legendary front-men such as Ozzy Osbourne and Brian Johnson with jokes of many synonymous comedians and fusing them together with his comedy/metal act. It was fun and something severely different. Where others take themselves too seriously, Jim is very laid back and honest, engrossing his audience with comfort and laughter while showcasing his talent in the music department. The man is gold, and so are the photos. Even though I missed the first two nights of his residency, I have no doubts that those nights as well were “Loud & Rowdy.” Check out the photos but unfortunately, no set-list this time.
