“Kill As One” AKA DEATH ANGEL 3/30/14

“Kill As One”… funny way on discovering this secret show as I personally got the invite for the show on Facebook thanks to the Blackthorn 51 invite page. It was a “local” show and I knew who it was when they mentioned and I quote “Bay Area Thrash Legends” and there is only 1 band from the Bay Area I am continuously following. On top of this, guitarist Ted Aguilar autographed my photo I got printed of with the phrase “Kill As One” so it became a dead giveaway. Vocalist Mark Osegueda also personally invited me, so there go your 3 hints. The show itself was a complete thrash monstrosity. I arrived at 7:30pm when the show started at 4pm catching local amazing acts like Usurp the king, Fate breaks dawn, Martyrd, Dehumanized and then the headliner itself. The show went smoothly, with no conflicts of schedule and a TREMENDOUS set-list for Death angel. The band managed to cap their 47th show in 8 weeks with a jaeger shot toast towards the end of the set. I managed to record 6 videos which are posted below and photography of the event. Kudos to Blackthorn 51 in Queens, NY for getting this show together and making it an all around success for those who attended and those who performed.
