Gallery: Saxon & Armored Saint 5/12/15

Two times the charm with Saxon. The monsters of BB Kings came BACK to BB Kings to play a close to sold out show on the Tuesday of May 12. Now to make this clear, I DESPISE BB Kings venue in Times Square strictly because there’s barely a photo pit for us to work in and we are NOT safe from drunk people and/or tall folk at that. Plus, to make things worse, the house lights are complete disasters. You can either choose two choices. One, you stay dead center in the front row all night until the end, OR you manage to maneuver around the crowd of people to get angles of crowds. I chose the latter and yet managed to not kill anyone. The headache and frustration of dealing with fans using cell phones to record the shows is immense. I almost caught a heart attack cause I could not stand it. ENJOY THE SHOW, SAVE THE MEMORIES FOR YOU CAUSE WE KNOW YOU ONLY POST IT ON YOUTUBE AND THEN FORGET! Saxon played almost two hours and took an hour and a half to come out and greet the 14 people (including myself) who waited to meet them. They were such awesome people, signed photos and Cd’s and took photos with everyone with no hesitation. The venue blows and Saxon deserves a better venue to play in. Even though the night was a complete pain in the ass, it was completely worth it. Armored Saint as direct support was also a favorable choice. Last time Saxon came, they toured with Fozzy. I enjoyed this show more than the last one. Armored Saint for the win. End of story. Check the photos below and set-lists as well.
